but to personally call him dumb really gets to me. none of us know the guy, none of us have sat and quized him on topics. he may not be the smartest president but to personally insult him as being dumb is unfounded.
and what's the big deal about his speech impediment? sheesh can you leave the guy alone. are you going to call every person in the world with dyselxia dumb? just because he might have a speech dyslexia that sure as hell has no implication on his IQ. |

How about graduating in the lowest quarter of his college graduating class? Sure it was Yale, but I believe I could do better. God knows I did better than he did on the SAT's (1260 < 1390). I'm sure a lot of TA's did too (some by significant margins). Why aren't we being admitted to Yale and becoming president? Hmm, I wish my daddy paved the way for me to be our nations leader.
Would you like more proof than his pedestrian scores in standardized testing and where he placed in his college graduating class? Do I have to bring up high school GPA's?
Sure some of our great leaders of the past such as Abraham Lincoln or FDR weren't known for how well the did in school, but they were revolutionaries. Plus a lot of them were well versed in the executive branch after having served as apprentices under other great presidents (ie - Teddy Roosevelt, Truman). Bush served a couple terms as governor, after having been a poor business man, accomplishing nothing. Had he been of presidential brass, most of our state governments would be molding their governing means in the image of Texas. This is clearly not the case. |

LoL yeah he walks as if he was like "HERE I COME SO DON'T MESS WITH ME" terminator want to be thing hehehehe..
- And about that one calender, in my government class my teacher has it, he always reads off the "quotes" from Bush. It's so hilarious. I saw that he's the president with the lowest IQ ever, I remember reading that. I don't know if it was fake or not, but I remember that newspaper add, I think it was one in Britain. :D |

Well in my flat there is this calendar where every morning we tear a page off of and read statements that this man has made. Today's is: "The government is not the surplus's money, Vice President." Hilarious! :haha: |
I have that calendar!!! My friends and I (even the conservative friends) have all had a good laugh! My favorite is: "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream" :haha: |

| There is a very simple reason for this, it is because he is dumb. Someone like Colon Powell or Clinton i could say that I dont agree with them but for Bush it is so simple, listen to the way he speaks, etc and we can see that HE IS A DUMB ASS!!!!!!!!!!!! |

listen to the way he speaks? you guys are a bunch of wankers.
i'd love to put all you dicks in front of a microphone and have ya gawky faces beemed across the entire world, and see just how well you deliver a speech. remember, there's 6 billion people watching, DONT UP RETARD!!#@!
OMGFOMGOMGOMG HE STUTTER ROFLREOFMAO HE'S SO STUPID
i'd say he's more informed than anyone here, or at least has the ability to be. leaders dont have to be smart, they dont have to deliver flawless speeches, they just have to lead and be able to make tough decisions. decisions that would send most people into a corner cowering. |

| I don't ask him for perfection, but I do request respectability - the man is supposed to represent our nation, after all. If there were a building that represented public speaking, George W. Bush would be the airplane that slammed into it. |

Ok, so let's ignore hundreds of his rediculous statements and look at some other things.
He almost suffocated on a pretzel. Then he said "my mom always told me to chew your pretzels. listen to your mom."
He was at a vacation when the first US marines got captured by the Iraqis, and he was probably the last person to acknowledge that, because he didn't watch tv and demanded to be undisturbed for the weekend.
He had the lowest grades in his class.
He used cocaine.
His dad used to lock him up during his meetings so he wouldn't embaress him.
He managed to turn most of the world population against him and his country.
Now, I agree that IQ is not necessarily connected to each of those things separately, but when you put all these together, it does strongy indicate a lack of intelligence. Besides, regardless of IQ, for a politician it is very important that he is eloquent and charismatic. Two qualities Bush surely doesn't have. |

So? He's providing a soundbite to the press or making a joke. That in itself doesn't really mean anything :)

Bush Sr. went to camp david at the first weekend of the start of Gulf war 1. It's a tradition or something like that to impress on the public that the pentagon rather than the white house is controlling the military and running the war. It's not really a vacation however since camp david has all the command and control capabilities as the white house does.

Really? The lowest? Sources?
And Clinton used pot, and possibly other stuff. And many people here use drugs as well, are you going to imply something about their intelligence?

Welcome to the world of politics. Much of the world was already anti-American ... Clinton's fault I suppose?

I'd rather have a smart president that can't speak well than a dumb president that can. As for what I personally think about Bush I don't think that he's not the brightest guy in teh world. I'm not going to pass judgment on intelligence through speaking ability alone, but I thought Clinton was far more intelligent. As for that supposed IQ test scores that were published showing Bush as having the lowest IQ of all the President's 90 or something like that ... that was a hoax :) |

- Well, during Clinton's administration, Clinton was way more loved then what Bush is. You go to South America and Europe, everyone loves Clinton. I could name actually, the whole world, except ofcourse, by the bad guys. But Bush, is hated now everywhere.. so I find it rather "off" saying that it was Clinton's fault. |
