i thought calling a filipino person a "flip" was a derogatory term, as in the word "spic" for hispanic person or "guinea" for italian...
or is it a double standard thing, where it's ok to call urself it but others aren't allowed to? just curious.. |

| First off we call each other like that. And there is nothing bad about saying it. It's only "A" word.. It's like saying niggah if your black to black get what I mean, but we don't go awol if a white person calls us flip rofl. I mean come on now... your not going to say to your filipino friend "YO WHATS UP FILIPINO" nope too long thats why we shortened it to flip.. flipper weee.. |
