wtf you talking about dood :)

i know exactly what God's Kitchen is. I was referring to a 2000 Jules set at God's Kitchen, where the galloping horses were let loose. and as a bonus, a drunk Sonique on the mic

not to mention about 5 billion pre-recorded "Judge won't Budge" plugs in the set. thats why i said, HA, Ha, ha. what a joke.

Hey quick start who are the resident dj's at buzz/nations?

I'm definitely trying to get down for Area One, and next week is Starscape :( (not much of a line up, but still the best party). www.buzzdc.com has all the line up and residents. Jules is gonna blow some minds away.

Hope to see everyone around here there! :)

sorry but im stickin my middle finger up to anyone who sez jules is a e DJ, he is wicked and uz crasher kidz mostly like him :) ill agree some of the he plays sometimes is a bit too high on the cheezometer, but he doesnt always play like that! when he gets the hard out he is the man :D

ive seen him play one e set though.. he must have arrived late and totally didnt realise he was following lucien foort on the decks.. he totally picked up the wrong tunes for that night lol...

the long and short of it is in my estimation he is as good a dj as the next contender.. if he was e then he wouldnt be resident @ crasher & he wouldnt be so ing unbeleivably popular in the UK nevermind anywhere else..

peace

P.S. Gods Kitchen is the dogz bollox... im up for a trip soon :D

I agree wiv every word of that tu_face. Judge has had some poor sets but so has most other DJ's. When he's on form he rocks. Plus he's often responsable for decent underground bein played cuz he's so popular. :p

And im up 4 a trip to GK's too. might have to wait for Oct when im 18 though :D

decent underground? what the hell does he play that's underground, yomanda???
he's (aside from fergie) the LEAST underground dj you have in the uk... petong don't count (as a promoter i guess)

u obviously never heard of dave pearce then... lol

and jes he plays quite a bit of underground when he gets his hard boots on. but most of the time most ppl dont get to hear this side of him. he was partly responsible (back in the days) for getting hard house to where it is today by gettin the played out. now his productions reflect this with a kind of HH/trance hybrid sound like his clergy and hi-gate stuff...

ppl that say jules is 'commercial' or whatever have never heard him enough to know in my experiance. all they hear is the he puts on the MoS cd's and all his essential sets for radio 1 etc... never his real self. e.g. Gatecrasher Mayday Celebration he played an AMAZING prog/uplifting set between tall paul and tiesto.. rockin the place or what??!!

Hey, I got my copy form Audiogalaxy. A couple of link from TA has it too. Audiogalaxy is a little easier, but you have to do during the day, not alot of people logged on at night.

Hope that helped.

hm... perhaps you have a point. but ive heard quite a few of his essential mixes, and a couple other sets.
i still think there's not much flow to his mixing, like you said all that "hard-house" trance style (which isn't really HH, but i know what you mean)... since i dont like hard house that would kind of be the difference.

please give me an example of a deeper set of his then?
