How do I keep an image in my signature???

ok, so i put up an image for my signature in geocities. the address is http://www.geocities.com/blondgrl928/tranceaddict.gif
i used that address for the advance signature editor. it seemed to work last night, then today it wasn't working. then i signed into geocities to check it was the right address, went back to ta, and it was back. now it is gone again, and all i have is that little box with teh x in it.
i type in the address for the picture and sometimes it comes up, sometimes i get a message saying, this page is unavailable for viewing. wha???
i know you have to surround the address w/  . but i don't understand why the image keeps disappearing. is it geocities fault? did i maybe put in a wrong address?
i have no idea, could somebody please tell me how to get an image up so it stays there?

geocities doesnt allow for remote linking, what is when a link for that image is placed on a site that isnt on geocities. u need to use some space that allows for remote linking, if u want ill put ur sig on my space that comes with my isp in the short term ( imm closing this account when i move house in july) but by then you should be able to find some space that allows for remote linking or someone who can lend you some of theirs
