I don't like the hardstyle songs that have these cheesy "pings" and "Pongs" that happen every other bass drum kick..... sounds a little immature to me (just my opinion)...
Other than that, hardstyle KICKS ASS!!!! especially dj's like Dana and Isaac.....
I think if hardstyle dj's could find a way to throw in a couple nice progressive tunes with female vocals to soften the crowd up before drop'n some really hard songs/beats, it would make for a really good mix and make the HARD songs almost feel more intense...... |

| Hardstyle is wikked, but like nuk said ya have to dig to get the good stuff. A lot of it sounds very amaturey only the good stuff works. As for it being classed as Hard House, thats bollox as its nothing like that. It is def its own genre and a pretty good one a that |

well actually in holland sum of it is called hardhouse.. knows why because it sounds nothing like hardhouse and dosnt contain hardhouse elements, hard house comes from house music, only harder, house music is bouncey, fun, good time music, plus the beat defines a track to being house or hard-house, the beat in a house or (old)hard house, was like dum tss dum tss ...etc. in hardstyle it aint nothing but ruff kicks or hard stompy drums, so i think they shouldnt be calling it hardhouse, so i find Trance-a-holiks comment completely laughable
Although sum of the italian stuff is cheesecore, i cant emphasise enough that you gotta explore to find the best of it.... i got loads of quality hard as hardstyle tracks.... pretty much none of which involve technoboy, tuneboy, dana or isaac.... if the truth be knows them 4 artists i just named are all guilty of being cheesemongers from time to time.

ROFLMAO!. OMG buddy. youre such a hypocrite. although my comments may be laughable, i found a comment that you stated to be equally as funny. "In holland sum of it is classed as hardhouse... knows why." duurr duuur dumb, u just contradicted yourself, . how are you to say that my comments are irrelevant, when in the beginning of your post, you agreed that hardstyle has, and still is, being classified as hardhouse regardless of its sound, and the fact that it is its own genre. honestly, I never plan to explore more of this terrible genre, it makes me sick. and as for my v&s avatar, you got a problem with it buddy? I stand strongly by their prodcutions, regardless of the eurodance remixes they put out from time to time. their cold blood album proved to be, one of the most bangin, absolute heart pounding, hard-trance n' acid albums ever to be put up on store shelves. case closed bitch :whip: |
