here's a suggestion for some of ya .. if you guys find trouble gettin in the front door with a lotta companies, try going thru a job agency.. many companies outsource their HR hiring to agencies that staff them by contract. and sometimes if they need you bad enuff they'll hire you on permanently..
Endlesswave and I are co-workers at TD eBank and we both started off at an agency and TD eventually both hired us permanently after about 6-8 months..

Spectrum

It s cool, but I thought that job agencies take a percentage of what you make...Which agency were you with??

i was with Pinstripe for about 8 months before i was hired on permanently by the bank. the agency took about $2/hr of what i earned at the time, but now i'm earning 100% since I'm no longer with the agency.. |
