And now the Expos are winning, sweeping the Mets in the first three season games playing in our ty Puerto Rican stadium. I hope you don't mind, cuz the Expos are now staying with us :toothless :haha:

hehehe I believe they will be bought by some Washington buisness men.

I was a big fan of the Expos and then there was the Strike in 94 and everything got worse. The team has great players but can't pay them, the salaries are just insane.

1994- I remember that season well. They would have probably won the series thus cementing their position in Montreal for another few decades but the strike ended it all. I still have a 1994 World Series baseball, despite their being no 1994 world series!

it's either gonna go to DC or PR. i hope we get it, but it's probably too far away to play a whole season down in the island. the team looks awesome this year though!

i hate baseball to death but i don't want the Expos to leave since it's a part of Montreal's heritage

to truly understand baseball, you've had to have played it, otherwise its difficult to admire as a sport!

check the thread in the toronto forum , everything was said there about why baseball sucks :)
