I agree. In a world that is progressivly getting more liberal, the USA seems to be moving in the opposite direction. Its scary because of their influence over other countries like us in Canada. I wonder about this freedom america speaks of all the time. Cause it sure as hell doesn't allow people the freedom to party and yes do drugs.

Looks like more Americans will be coming up to Canada to party!

Hopefully this gets appealed thoough.

That's not cool. I feel sorry for our neighbours. Like Em said, as we move on ahead, they backtrack.

it's already been happening here for a while. it's the same reasons why there aren't any more 15000+ ppl parties at the BLC and public venues in TO anymore .. or iDance for that matter..

I think this has more to do with security at a municipal level than a federal one though. From a federal standpoint, Canada has become much more liberal with respect to its attitude towards marijuana restrictions. In this sense, we have definitely been moving in the opposite direction from the U.S.

Gotta love americans "Give up your rights for freedom!" Uh huh.

Spyder
so this means that canada will react to this just as well.?

troo say .. but i think we feel it here cuz the municipalities seem like they have more autonomy from the feds than they do down there. the hemp thing is good tho.. i've seen a lotta lobbying downtown for that , atleast they;re making some progress on that front ..
