| :conf: can anyone tell me the difference between the vestax pcv175 and the 275. i cant see were the other £80 goes. my mates got the 175 and itz hot, so i wud like to know if itz worth spending the extra £80 for the 275. |

the 275 has generally better components and sound quality all around i believe. For example the kill switches on the 175 are of cheaper build and tend to make loud *pop* noises while the 275s are much smoother.
Also, it has a gold mettalic finish, instead of a painted on one, i've heard the paint chips really easy from Project T.
In terms of functionality, the PCV275 has 2 things which made me willing to shell out the extra money. First off, you can hear EQ changes in the headphones, which i don't think you can on the 175. Also there is a cue level meter on the 275 which is very helpful for checking your volume levels on the cued track.

I've heard alot of people complain about the 175, and then go pick up a 275.
Just save yourself some time and buy the 275 to start. |

The people who work at the record shops here in San Diego told me that the Vestax line for techno/trance mixers are garbage...ty parts=ty mixer.
For about 5-70 dollars more, you can invest in a Ecler, which I heard you can't go wrong with. |

vestax pcv 275 is the best mixer you can buy under 900$
alot of people have it and ive heard no complaints
i have one also
id rather have a DJM 500.. but for under 900 its a great mixer |
