got abused by the police!

this day sucks. i just talked to some guy on the phone to meet him in front of one building. i went there and i wated and wated and i decide for no reason to come inside the building. I sit down on the stairs and waited for 5 more minutes when this fat ass guy come into the building and asked me what am i doing here. I said that i am wating for one guy. He said why inside the building? I didnt know what to say. Then he said that he is a policeman and asked me who am i wating for. I said my friends name, but he didnt believe me. He called for soem backup for no reason. Then he asked me again whats his name? I said again Andrew. I dont know the last name. Then he started yelling at me and put handcuffs on my hands. Fukc thats some tight i will say. Never tried those before. So, here comes the backup. Two cars with two cops. They take outside and everybody see me. That was emberassing. They started abusing me. Yelling and telling me that they will kick my ass if i dont tell them the truth. It was some scary . I was in panic. I forgot my phone number and everything. They though i am making it up. They asked me again what i do there. I told them the truth again and again. They trow me in the car said that i will be arrested. Everytime i said something they will start screaming and telling me not to be smart ass or it will be worse. It all lasted 2 hours. In this time they keep asking me the same question again and again. They said till they believe my story they will not let me go. So what can i do? I started making something up. Everytime i try something new till they believe me. Then it hit me that there was some Russian guys in front. So i said that i saw someone who was going to kick my ass, because i meesed with his girl. So thats why i was in the building. Hiding from him. Then they said ok. Why didnt you said that in the begining? I said i was scared. Anyway they drove me home and let me go. And now i know how ing stupid is the Chicago police. If every policeman is bad as they i am leaving the country for real. I learned something from it anyway. Never tell the truth.
so i will drink something now to clam myself down. |

| if i was black man i could have gotten with at least a broken nose. Thats how violent is the police here. That even nice young white people like me get abuse. |

Oh wow that's horrible. Yeah I think it might have something to do with race maybe, I dunno...
I think if it were me I would have asked his name and then told him I would see him in court if he didn't let me go, after all he did arrest you for no apparent reason, at least no justifiably legal reason.
What building were you in? |

| Its doesnt matter what kind of building it was. He said it was private property. I was there just for while. The thing that they tought was strange is that i was sited in the corner like i was hiding. |

I think you could have dispelled the whole situation with a few choice comments:
A) What am I under arrest for?
B) I wanna talk to a lawyer.
C) What's your badge number? |

| That goes down all the time here in LA :( If it ever happens to anyone again make sure you get there badge number or at least there name, so you can file a complaint. At the very least asking for there number makes them think twice before they do anything dumb. |

bah, most policemen are stupid, and on purpose. I've heard of people being rejected from police school because they were too smart.
Don't mean to offend any police officers on the forum... there are those genuine ones out there who really do try to make it a better world for us. |
