GRAYAREA is Chicago based trio Nosmo, McRae and Ruin, three high-school mates who have recently become Hope Recordings brightest new signing.

GRAYAREA provides their listeners with a punishing live assault of cymbals,
drum pads, and floor toms alongside keyboards, guitar and bass " GRAYAREA
is electronic music the way it is meant to be played and heard," states fan
Amy Johnson. "The intricate breakbeats, sweeping melodies, and pounding
floor-kicks really have to be heard out of a thundering PA system for one to
truly appreciate the sound of GRAYAREA."

Backed by the success of their debut single "One for the Road", GRAYAREA is
being heralded as the act to watch for in 2003. From Max Graham to Sasha,
top-notch artists have charted the single across the globe. With their
plates already filling with remix work and their next single, "Yewminyst,"
being featured on Nick Warren's Global Underground 24 compilation, entitled
"Reykjavik", GRAYAREA is the fastest moving up-and-comer in dance music
today. What's more, when they make their way out of the studio, Nosmo,
McRae and Ruin are responsible for one of the most energetic and engaging
live performances around. The trio's punk rock and industrial roots is far
from forgotten in what is easily one of the most interactive, unrelenting
bands touring today.

WHAT DOES THE INDUSTRY SAY:
"Wicked new breaks from Chicago" John Digweed (Bedrock)

"Chicago has its share of top progressive and breakbeat producers too"
Hybrid (Distinct'ive)

"America has another one of its own forces to be reckoned with... Grayarea."
Deepsky (Kinetic)

"Holy , I'm impressed the more I listen to you guys..." Max Graham
(Kinetic)

"I think Grayarea is one of the most interesting bands from America...their
sound is the perfect balance between electronica and dance music" Hernan
Cattaneo (Perfecto)

"When it comes to these guys, therešs no gray area, top boys with top music"
Cass (Sabotage)

"Grayarea's sound moves intelligently between house, trance, atmospheric and
beyond. In an age glutted with deep progressive tracks that fail to go
anywhere, Grayarea's sound is complete. Look for lots of good stuff to come
from these guys. To put it simply, I'm a big fan." D:Fuse (V2 Music)

"Progressive house that is uplifting too!" Chris Fortier (Bedrock)
