hey, i have the stanton sk-6f mixer...i got i 3 months ago new, but i have problems with it..maybe someone can help me?

1)the xfader "sticks" on one end. i can close ch.1, but for some reason i feel a lot more resistance on that side.
that's the least important problem, i don't use the xfader anyway.

2)my volume faders for both channels are very abrupt in volume change at about point 3. then from 3 to 10 (the top) there is no volume change at all! the max val is at 3, so it's really tough to get a smooth fade in or out. i have to use the gains with it, and i shouldn't have to do that. one of my friends, a prof. dj, looked at it but he has no clue why it is like that...and he says it's not right...

i never ever eat or drink around my equip, nobody has been playing with it, never dropped anything, etc.

what should i do??? i don't think i have a warranty on it (i bought it from a reputable electronics dealer though):conf:

It sounds like it needs some real help, I think it should be under warantee. I would give Stanton and call and tell them what's up.

Yea, volume faders sometimes are sketchy. I would take it in for a warantee if you got one (hopefully you did) or just give the Stanton boys a call.

Have you checked for a crossfader curve-button?
