I have downloaded a liveset called Paul van Dyk @ Mayday 2002, it's sounds very good :)

Unfortunately it was the only set I could find, but there aren't any more probably.

Btw, at what day in May was the set recorded? Did he make it at home or at a club?

Yo I tell ya mon! PvD is nothing special! You should listen to Scooter!!! Now there is some REAL trance! He is the ! Pufff...Paul van Dyk...dime a dozen.

I know what you mean man. I saw him live for the first time last month and I still get a stupid smile on my face everytime I think about it. He spun for 5 hours here in SF!!

I noticed something though: He was having a LOT more fun and was really dancing when he was spinning the breakbeats but he wasn't as animated when spinning trance tracks.

He needs to come to SF more often damnit.

I wouldnt doubt it... he's been playing more breakbeat stuff lately and he's integrating it more and more into his sets. It's something different and that's always fun. For me its alot of fun to mix breaks. Spinning trance all the time can get boring. Breaks just add a breath of fresh air into the sets.
