Finally some news about this long awaited cd, its going to be one hell of a cd :)
Dutch producer Tom has revealed the final tracklist for Radio JXL - A Broadcast From The Computer Hell Cabin. An album with two different concepts behind it...
The first concept being music at 3PM, which is also the name of the first disc.

But tell us why Tennis will be only on the UK/Japanese Version, Whats wrong with the American Release????? and whats with the secret on his website????

Junkie XL to work with The Cure and Depeche Mode
Anything that the man touches at the moment seems to turn into gold. Dutchman Tom Holkenborg a.k.a Junkie XL has announced Robert Smith from The Cure and Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode as the artists that have contributed to his forthcoming album 'Radio JXL, A Broadcast From The Computer Hell Cabin'. Other artists to appear on his album are Gary Numan, DJ Sasha, Peter Tosh, Australia's Infusion, Dutch singer Anouk, Public Enemy's Chuck D and of course Republica's Saffron who also sang on his last smash 'Beauty Never Fades'.
Tom told the VPRO that he was already working with most of these people before the commercial success of Elvis' 'A Little Less Conversation' that was originally written for a Nike commercial. Although he admits that things became a lot easier after the song went straight to #1 in several countries around the world.
Although Junkie XL began as a band in 1995 including a drummer, a scratcher, a rapper, a guitarist and a vocalist, Tom is happy to be working on his own now. Despite all the music he's made and the soundtracks he has also written for computer games, he says that co-producing Sasha's album 'Airdrawndagger' was the highlight of his career as a producer as he really developed himself in producing dance music.
Tom has invited several artists including Gary Numan, Solomon Burke and Grant Nicholas for his performance at Holland's Pinkpop festival next week. More artists to be announced!
Junkie XL has upcoming live shows at Skolbeats Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Roskilde Festival in Denmark. (15/04/03)

Junkie XL said this would not be the album, we wait until June 2 :) :) :)
Does anyone know if the official release will be mixed???? there are a lot of tracks on CD 1 ?????? |
