When should the TA Dinner be? (pg. 3)

I'm not sure if everyone who voted has actually posted but I want to add one thing:
Lots of people voted for multiple days. I think the situation is that there are primarily two sets of people:
1) those who live in Toronto all year, are done (or almost done) school or who aren't in school period and are thus available most weekends, but would prefer to do it sooner rather than later, and
2) those who are swamped with exams/out of town for the next week or two and can't actually make it for a while.
So have a heart and take that into account - I already missed one TA massive. :sadgreen:
But hey if you guys are really anxious to do it on Easter Monday (I still don't understand why) then I'm sure there'll be some other meetup some other time for me to go to. I'm just trying to arrange things so I'll be able to make it out for this one. :) |

I don't see why we can't set up both dates. This Monday for lunch/dinner and next Friday for dinner and Viva afterwards. It does not mean that everyone must come to both, but if you can, what's the harm in doing so? :) This Monday would be just to chill, eat, socialize, and whatnot since there's not really much else going on this weekend. Next Friday, we can do the same, and then hit up a party. Works for me, but let's see what the consensus is. |

I can't come next Friday either, that's the reason I brought this up. Some people will not be available until MAY.
Plus, setting up both dates will inevitably result in a lower turnout for both of them. |

:toothless Don't worry about it! There will be more meet-ups. The TA thing for April isn't happening anymore, so let's replace it with another event of our own. We can do more in May if people want it. |

Well I think you're taking a bit of a biased view here (no offense).
Those of us who originally planned to see PvD, planned it for the 20th not the 21st. You wanna try booking a train ticket for the day after Easter at this point in time?
But anyway, I've said all I can say, I'll just wait for the decision to be made. |

Blah, no arguing, damnit. We can do it this Monday, next Friday, AND sometime in May. What's wrong with that? |

You're completely missing my point here. Anyway, you guys decide.
Dr. Z: I'm just annoyed because I've already missed enough so far! The "biased view" I was referring to was being around town, in high school, and able to go pretty much anywhere anytime. |
