I am interested in buying a DVD burner. Can anyone recommend some brands, etc. ?

bought a Sony DRX500A recently, and burned 5 (cheap ones from accu) DVD-R without problems !
it's main adv. is DVD-R(W) & DVD+R(W) capability (and both +R and -R burned max at 4x speed :) )

| buy a mac, their DVD Burners rock, plus when u buy them as part of a complete computer they are much cheaper and more reliable. On the other hand i have no idea :D |

I've got a HP DVD-200i which is awesome. I have had 0 problems with DVD+R in any drive and always make a perfect burn. I think the 300i is now out which is 4x, min is only 2.4x
