| I'm looking for a VSTi that uses samples like Fruity but is dependent on the sensitivity of the key to trigger an envelope. What I want to do is use percussion samples and trigger them with my Akai MPD16. But I want to try to do two different things: 1) I want to trigger the sample and use the velocity to also trigger a pitch envelope, and 2) have the velocity to trigger the sustain/release. Essentially I want to use a "Timbale" but depending on how I hit the pad for it to either have a short or long tail. I know true synths can do this and trying to figure out what a single VSTi can do may cause a problem. I want a quick approach with a quick learning curve... |
