Well, let me start by saying I'm not a big fan of hardstyle :p
However, with my knowledge of hardstyle ;), I think you did a great job on this one. It sounds very professional and is well mastered. I can imagine this being released, especially when you look at the number of hardstyle records being released (not much). Maybe send it to the record company? |

1) Where did you get that "boom-drum"?
2) How did you break up the vocal ("a-a-a-a")
3) What is that sharp lead synth? so cool!
4) How many different kicks have you used?

1) I assume you mean the kick? I uploaded it for your pleasure ;)

2) I took the vocal in a wave editor and made seperate samples of snippets of the vocal (i.e. for that a-a-a-a the very last bit of the vocal)
3) lead synths = clavia nord rack 2
4)kicks.....the kick you can find at 1), and a tiny kick you hear for example in the intro, and a distorted kick through a highpass filter with a lot of resonance for those "biew baw boew bah" sounds in the intro

Sounds like a nice remix mate! Great quality.
I remember having the original on one of my old Serious Beats cd's... I think it had more aggressive vocals, could that be?

That seems strange, the vocals in the remix are from the original (actually from the hocus terapiolos remix)
