Today, I was wondering what this means on the label on a vinyl I recently bought: "It is prohibited to play this record in puplic areas"
Do they mean that? Do you have to have a special aproval to play vinyls as a DJ on parties or something? |

| I've also seen that on several vinyls of mine, but I don't think that they really care about you playing them out. I wouldn't think that it would matter unless you put tracks on a CD you're selling in which case they'd obviously want royalties. I guess wait for another response to confirm this, but I don't think they care about you playing tracks out without permission directly from the label or artist. After all, you've already bought the track (I would hope ;)). |
