| Why are all the good trance tracks on vinyl? I'm constantly looking for good albums or singles on CD, so I can play with them while mixing, but all the good stuff is vinyl! Why is this? I can occasionally find stuff on MP3, but the sound quality is nothing special, and it's usually a vinyl rip which isn't anything special either. |

cuz...real DJ's use vinyl for atleast 80% of the stuff they play.
the top jocks are starting to use more and more cd's, but it's usually only because record lables like sending out early promos on CD-R now...or if the DJ just produced something he is eager to get feedback on.
it's a lot cheaper to do this than to press a bunch of white lables or something.
But for the bulk of their sets, they still use vinyl
besides
we all know
VINYL OWNZ YOU!!!!!!:disbelief :toothless |

Final Scratch combines the best of both worlds. :)
...and have fun dealing with warped records, scratched records, pops and clicks every 2 seconds, skipping, whatever. |
