| Last night I went to go see House of 1000 Corpses while blown out of my mind. Thats one ed up movie. I loved it though and highly reccomend it. If you haven't seen it,you should. It's madness.:eyes: |

Is it really scary and gorry? my boyfriend wants to see it but i don't know if i can handle it..i've seen the commercials for it and it looks really ed..do you think its something that will make me close my eyes every other minute? ;) I'd like to see it but i don't know if i should..since you've already seen it what do you think?...thanks :D |

Eh it's not too bloody,but it has it's sick parts. I don't know what to tell ya, I can handle all the gore it had to offer but I don't think you'll be turning away every minute.

I'll be honest, I thought it was .
but then again, I'm not into the whole "horror" genre (although this movie made me feel queasy rather than scared). |

I like cheesy horror films a lot and saw this last week...
And I have to say... :shrug:
Mediocre film that probably wouldn't be worth any mention if Rob Zombie wasn't the guy who directed it.
Undoubtedly ten times better if you're viewing it while drop dead drunk and/or tripping, but what cheesy horror film *isn't* ten times better in that condition?
The visuals and some of the sets are entertaining but the plot, characters, and dialogue are almost laughably bad. Go expecting nothing and you might enjoy it, but definitely far from a modern B movie classic... (and for those of you who're wondering, IMHO a modern B movie classic is something along the lines of Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers :D) |
