don't worry, it WILL get a release, because it is a Tiësto track, and (unlike pvd :toothless) he actually releases his music.
The reason Die Another Day didn't get released is because Madonna/her record lable wasn't happy with it and they specifically said they didn't want it to be released. |

the reason some people dont like the vocals is because they are different. they arent the usual, what i like to call, whiney uplifting vocals. the vocalist definately has a powerful voice, and if you dont like the style then fine say that. but to say 'the vocals sux' really doesnt mean much.
i love the vocals, they're *shock* different from usual vocals heard in tracks (ie. its not jan johnston's voice :P)
cant hear much of the track, too much crowd noise and the vocal level is overpowering the music imo, but thats only cos its live. the parts of the track i can hear are good. |

| heh, I don't have anything against the girl's voice, certainly is strong and different to what we're used to, but the way it was put into the song just doesn't cut it, at least not for me ... the melody she follows doesn't fit in my head. I guess we have to wait 'till it's released, and see how it goes. |

dont speak for everyone.
ive heard tons of different vocals that arent your cookie cutter average trance tripe. that isnt what makes this song unique, what makes this song unique is how pandering it is. this song is like every new robin williams movie, it tries to look/sound different from all the other vocal songs out there- but its just another southern sun in wolf's clothing.
it doesnt sound different from many other tiesto songs,
there are many other great vocalists besides jan johnston, just because skin isnt jj doesnt mean she fits or that her vocals are 'quality'
the track is ok, but its another trance song that was so underproduced that they had to slap 'unique' (read: crappy, ie underproduced) vocals on it to make it more interesting.
im not some elitist that cant see a song for its ecstasy value - any idiot can like a tune then - but if its not imaginitive then what is the bother?
if you want darker melodies/synths look elsewhere
if you want quality vocals at least listen to older tiesto. even he said he 'doesnt spin trance anymore' what a joke!
some people hate oakie for 'reinventing himself'. whether that happened is something else to be discussed, but the problem with new tiesto is that he is doing the same old and calling it 'reinvention'. tijs would prolly say this track has a 'techno' edge to it - go tell that to someone that listens to techno. :rolleyes: | |

People are mostly slating this song because of the vocals -
1 - Its performed live, so the vocals are gonna sound .
2 - Tiesto producted this track especially fot the awards, so skin wouldnt have performed the track much.
3 - It was in a huge room, so the accoustics were bad.
4 - Its a crap quality rip.
Give this song a chance. This will be big. It might be a bit different, but will be winner in the summer... |

| it sounds really bad quality coz the vocals r sung live and the main tune is too quiet, i liek the bit at the start tho, probs will be an alright tune. |

yeh i thought that but i wasnt too sure coz there was a drum then that part, if its a diff track id really liek to knwo what it was, its my fave part of the rip anyway, hehe./ |
