Hehe, I'm glad you have good taste when it comes to cars :) . As far as mileage goes, the Zastava uses about 10l/100km, which is pretty much considering it has a 1.1 40kW (55hp) engine. The Wartburg uses up about 8l/100km, and it has a 43kW (58hp) Golf I engine. I've installed the natural gas propulsion in my Wartburg, because gas costs half as much as regular petrol here, and it has a nice side effect that it's less poluting. When it runs on natural gas, it uses about 10l/100km, and it's about 10% weaker.
The Zastava 101 is basically a remake of the Fiat 128. The only difference is that the Fiat has a square bunker in the back while the Zastava has a slanted one. There were some Fiats 128 produced in Argentina if I remember correctly, so you might get one without travelling overseas if you really want one :) .
