Now that pisses me off.

actually the club that i usually go to lost their liquor liscence a while ago. but i agree - maybe i have been away from drunks so long that i forgot how irritating they are.
Technaut
Well you guys should give up clubbing, as you aint gonna be in no club where there ain't no drunk people or people on drugs.

And if you are in a club wich is full of people doing it straight, then leave as it would be ing .

I agree that full out drunks slobbering and fumbling around all over the place can be an annoyance. but i'm not opposed to havin' a few drinks in the system. As for mary jane and all that jazz, the smell of it doesn't really bother me too much, perhaps i've gotten used to it. But for the sake of the club , it would be nice not to see such activity.

but despite all that goes on, just try to have a good time, whatever you're doin. :)

lol@ tabacco and alcohol being the worst drugs for you. You may be right about them being more harmful for you than marijuana, but what about acid?
jonnycarcinogen
Alcohol has the tendency to turn someone's personality 180 degrees, that's one reason I hate it and the whole double standard. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when was the last time some carefree raver on X just decided to go around picking fights with everybody? *sorry for the rant* Anyway, I don't agree with the way drug use can cause a club to be shut down, it isn't fair but I don't know much we can do to change it. I suppose things will always be the same in this country...corporate dollars controlling the government and pissing in the face of true freedom. I wish that common sense had more of a say in drug-related incidents, the fact that someone was on anything should be of no concern; if you commit an offense you're to blame and you pay the consequences because you can't control yourself.

perhaps, but that statement may very well be true. obviously no one here will want to ASSOCIATE trance and drugs, however, that's the way things are.
like Technaut said, there will be people doing/having done drugs or drinking at clubs. whether anyone likes it or not.

and yea, blantant drug use and overdrinking in clubs are complete sh|t. going overboard just shows disrespect to everyone there and ruins the fun =/ if they're the loud/annoying type, anyways.

Shut the hell up. I would much rather some person making funny faces, than some drunk twat that will either cause fights or be sick all over you. It has happened to me once before and believe me their is no worse feeling. Drugs were in clubs before you were, so either deal with it or don't go.

the problem is: "Trance" and drugs. why not "house" and drugs? "techno" and drugs? "metal" and drugs? woodstock 60's crap and drugs? most music is related to the drug scene, and people who want to say "trance" is music for druggies are retarded. That's what gives a bad name to our music, and start things like the RAVE act or whatever.

i'm 100% drug free, btw
DJ PíO
as long as there is art there will be drugs in some way or the other. contemporary history has shown us that both entities go hand in hand. trance is music, music is art. keep em coming :D

DJ El Kay Dee
i havent read all the posts but even tho ive tried several drugs, id rather stick to alcohol only at parties cos i know i can trust it and all i really want is a buzz and not a blank memory
jdat
as long as you're enjoying yourself then you're all good :D cause others don't care if you don't want drugs to be had around them

and I remember being at the club where butterfly goes to regurlaly and getting asked by some girl if I had any pills for sell ... mind you she was a tourist so maybe that explains why she wasn't down with the in-club down to earth don't touch no drugs type of vibe :p
