It seems to me that Marc Mitchell from Sunday Club / Human Movement has consistently for the last 7 or so years produced the highest quality electronic music in the world even toppling such greats as BT, Brothers in Rhythm, Chicane, Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. The song Etanas Flight in my book is the finest piece of music I think I have ever heard. The reason I'm starting this thread is because I'm interested in what other people feel about his work. Please share your views with me about this highly underrated producer/song writer.
My Sunday Club / Human Movement Favorites of all time.
1) Sunday Club - Etanas Flight
2) Human Movement - Vidapura (Main Mix)
3) Human Movement - Fall into Love
4) Deepsky - Talk Like a Stranger - Sunday Club Remix
5) Human Movement - Love Has Come Again
6) Sunday Club - Healing Dream |

I would agree wiht that top 6 most def, some smoooooooooooothe tracks there man. His tracks take you on a journey, which is totally awesome. I personally cant wait to hear more of his stuff. Perhaps a new album would be the next best thing :tongue2 |

I love his work. "Sunday Club" were one of my favourite producers back in the 1997 era.
BTW, Phurry Phreaks - Soothe (Sunday Club Remix) is at the top of my wantlist. If I never find the DMC vinyl with this on it, my life can be considered complete. :D
My favourites (of which I have full versions of, both on CD and MP3):
1) Sunday Club - Healing Dream
2) Sunday Club - Winds Of Change (Part 2)
3) Art Of Trance - Kaleidoscope (Lens Of Atlantic Mix)
4) Human Movement - Fall Into Love
5) Jimmy Van M - Love Like Sleep (Co-produced by Marc)
"Paladian Dawn" was particularly impressive considering it was made in 1995, while "Healing Dream" typifies the sound of 1997 Brittish Epic Trance with it's beautiful piano and dreamy female vocals. I've never been so fond of Human Movement as I have of Sunday Club, but 1997's "Vidapura" is more than worth a mention, as is 2002's "Fall Into Love". The remix of Dominion - Lost Without You is also a great production although it's overshadowed by "Zanzibar's Main Room Mix" by Simon Noble. |

I have to agree on that one.. the Sunday Club remix is imo even better than the Chicane mixes. :eyes:
He has just some amazing remixes & productions that i really enjoy listening because most the tunes i like from him, build up slowly and smoothly. Just what i like, even after years of listening.
I have these on vinyl:
Sunday Club - Healing Dream > over 15 mins of bliss
Sunday Club - Healing Dream (Rmxes)
Sunday Club - Healing Dream (Dub) / Paladian Dawn > OMG just got this one as a "names day" present today!!!
Art Of Trance - Kaleidoscope (Sunday Club 'Lens Of Atlantic' Mix) > some a bit goaish elements but still has the great sunday club sounds, best mix of the tune imo.
Sunday Club - Eterna's Flight
Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene 8 (Sunday Club Remix) > Marc's amazing tribute to one of the electronic music pioneers. |
