Where can I find good Clubs or trance in Southern, Spain.

hey im leaving for spain tomorrow...
i'll be staying in Malaga, but I will be travelling around Southern Spain and up to Madrid to check things out.
anyone want to provide me with some info on good clubs or things i should see in Southern Spain?
and no i wont be going to Ibiza because it isnt in season at the moment - meh next time
anyhow any info is appreciated

Review: 28.11.2002
A quiet Thursday night in Barcelona saw the SMIRNOFF EXPERIENCE™ transform Razzamatazz into a huge party. There was dramatic presence outside as clubbers entered a red glowing entrance, while inside, the industrial setting boasted two huge main rooms as well as plenty of space to chill-out, relax and listen to the music.
Sideral opened room 1 – well known and popular with the Barcelona crowd, he warmed up the early dancers with a mix of house and tech house, followed by a specialist mix of house, electro and techno from Angel Molina showing just a taste of the experimental ready for The Bays to take to the stage immediately after. A unique ensemble, The Bays take the concept of the DJ, perform as a live band, but provide a continuous mix, creating new tracks on stage and remixing ideas live without any planning or verbal communication. This was the first time they had played a SMIRNOFF EXPERIENCE™ night and the fist time the Barcelona crowd had heard such a rhythmic and abstract sonic experiment.
Tyrant duo Craig Richards and Lee Burridge played together with an unbreakable energy providing the crowd with an uplifting combination of break beats and progressive house. Numbers on the dance floor grew and grew and it was obvious they could have played all night. The Barcelona crowd were not shy when showing their appreciation and the night clearly seemed to end to soon for everyone!
There was a different atmosphere all together in room 2, the lighting was a little bit darker and tunes all that little bit heavier as the Drum ‘n’ Bass talent hit the decks with an eclectic line-up - a synergy one can only ever hope for. Addiction - one of the originators from the UK’s scene, played with an enthusiasm that obviously rubbed off on the crowd who became more and more responsive with every record. Following on was Patife, born and bred in music and clubbing capital Sao Paolo, he played a vibrant set illustrative of his energy and determination, with a professional execution of soul filled and uplifting records. Bad Company’s Darren White took to the decks on his own, minus his partner in crime Jason Maldini who was marooned in the UK coping with a delayed flight. However, Darren was in full force, dropping some serious heavyweight tunes and the room filled with appreciative punters who kept the night heaving well past the closing hour. |

I've been to Malaga.. it's cute, but not that much of a raging party place. If you have time, definitely hit Madrid.. It's mindblowing.. I couldn't believe the traffic jams at 6 am when people are leaving the clubs (honest!!).
In Malaga, though.. just a couple of bars, pubs and reggae clubs on Calle Granada and around Plaza de la Merced.. that's all I know.
Meanwhile, down the coast Benidrom is very tacky, though apparently has good nightlife.. I would recommend Valencia and Alicante more [I don't know how far up the coast you're planning on going].
Other than that, I would strongly recommend that you don't miss out on Sevilla & Granada.. too beautiful. Nightlife is down to flamenco and bars, but the sites :crazy:
