Rather than who should go...I will post who should stay...everyone else I do not mention should go..
Sundin, Mogilny, Nolan, Tucker, Belak, Gilmour[ for character and the dressing room as well as power play ], Fitzgerald, Roberts, Green, Kaberle, Mecabe [ if he changes his ty attitude only!!! ]
Belfour, Kidd, All Rookies [ Stejan, Coliacovo etc ] Antropov...but for Gods sake someone check his flexibility cause he is a brutal skater...
I think that is it....scrap the rest of the squad including Domi..
Who I think they should get.?
Never should have let Yuskevich or Shneider go..
Would like to see the rookies play...they deserve to play...Coliacovo led the team in scoring in the pre-season I think?...Stejan gets a goal in his first NHL game..2 days after he signs
They need Defence...
I also think that Quin may need to go....he has now had 3 good years and nothing in the playoffs...same story... |

I'm leaning more towards Pat Quinn.
They just didn't play as a unified team and I felt that even as veterans, they thought they could easily blow past philly or something like that and I just don't htink they really had the fire in their eyes. If they did, they weren't willing to feed the fire If that simile were applied.
Even though the team needed to be more aggressive, the leaf's went completely overboard. Domi/Tucker/Green/Mcabe do a nice job, but I mean come on, drop your ego's and play the game rather than start fights every other second, thats a part of hockey but too much of it is bull..

People Eddy faced 75 shots in games one and two(vs 30something for the leafs).. and then another 75 shots in that big overtime game. That is 150 shots it three games. You arnt going to win hockey games when your goalie faces 150 shots in three games, I dont care if your goalie is Patrict Roy, Hasek or a brick wall.. you wont win the series.
I don't understand what everyone is so shocked or pissed about. The flyers were the favourites going into this series. They were ahead of you in the standings. They had better players and a better team than you. You knew one of the two team was going to get knocked out. Why is this a surprise? Quinn has made some very bad trades.. but he also got you to the conference finals last year. And he got there with a mediocre team. Get over it stop whining. I mean I dont get it? Did you really thing Brian Macabe was going to win you a cup?
Your defense is terrible thats what needs to be changed. You do have coliacovo comming up. (and brendan bell too.. just about the nicest guy you'll meet.. i went to the same high school as him). Stop bitching babies.. you beat us three years in the playoffs and I can guarantee you never heard so much whining in ottawa.
The canucks never traded linden for messier.. he was traded to the islanders for bertuzzi and brian macabe.. haha nice trade new york |

what do you call bringing in nolan? signing sundin, resigning roberts, offering a load to cujo...
they are not as tight with their money as they were in years past, but i think ppl have learned from the rangers' mistake. you cant just go out and spend 60-70 million and expect to have a winning team! heck, the rangers didnt even make the playoffs!
they just need to be smart with the money. going out and buying defenceman, instead of washed up forwards and soft d.
there is a difference between spending money like a madman, and spending money wisely...
