Searching for the Dutch epic trance flavour here in T.O

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum this being my first post. I live in Toronto and I regulary check out Mark Oliver at Guvernment and at Meow. However, Mark is a little too heavy on the progressive tip and I was wondering if you know of any other places where I coud check out the sounds of some sic trance. What I really love is the likes of Tiesto, Corsten, Van Buuren, and Johan Gielen. I can only seem to get small glimpses of this style here in T.O. Am I searching for a non-existent place, or are there other clubs that actually mimic that flavour? If not, what rave production comes closest to this style (been out of the rave scene for a good 5 years now, so bear with me). Thanks for your help guys

| Hey there TranceXtasy, One of the best rave promoters that offer good trance (including the dutch style you mentioned) is Purple Heaven productions. Their next party is gonna be June 30th 2001. Check out their website at www.purple-heaven.com for more info. Also dj's in T.O that play more uplifting trance than Mark Oliver are, Jason Marshall, St. Pete, DJ Vibez, n OS/2 (there are others, but these are THE best I think). So if you can find a rave or club featuring any of these dj's, you won't be dissapointed! Also, if you want, sunday nights Limelight has an all trance lineup with usually Jason Marshall, Dekoze, St. Pete, and other guests. It ain't as big or as classy as the Guv, but the music is SO much better!! Hope I've been of some help! Peace. :) |
