| everyone knows about this thing... and i've been watching the news lately and it said that canada is has been hit with it. i know that its mostly toronto but i was wondering if it has effected montreal yet. i mean, in terms of clubbing and going out. are people scared to go out? has it even reached montreal yet? just wondering b/c formula weekend is in couple months and i would hate to see armin or tiesto cancell b/c of this. let me know your thoughts on this. |

| I dont think anyone in Montreal has been diagnosed with it yet. They have quarantined people who might have the symptoms. I heard that out in Vancouver they are close to finding the key component of the virus. I wouldnt worry about it too much becuause only a very small percentage of people who are actually diagnosed with sars die. A young adult with a normal immune system will not be in any danger even if they get it. In China, only like 300 people have died from it. I bet there are more people dying from donkey attacks than there are people dying from sars. Its just an easy way for the media to scare the out of us. |

| I watched some CNN today and its funny how they talk about this disease and talk about Canada, even tho its only Toronto who's affected. |

i JUST heard on the news that the 300 people who were quarantined here in montreal have been released without 1 case...
the W.H.O. has issued a "strong recommendation" to avoid several cities around the world, one of which is toronto...
school trips etc. are getting cancelled, MLB has advised players playing in toronto to avoid the public and not sign autographs...
serious stuff... |
