Ok, I've just gotten my hands on Safri Duo's first dance/trance album "Episode II" and it suxx donkey's arse IMO. Except for the last track on the album: Adagio. It's pure classical and it's just SCREAMING for a William Orbit vs. Ferry Corsten remix or even better a Tiësto or Gielen remix. Oh well, I guess I'm just dreaming...
What do you think of the album? (Bongo addicts aside...)

Safri duo isnt really trance.. they did that co op thingie.. but that doesnt make em trance producers.. they got their own style..
I dont really like the cd either.. ah well..

it's not bad. i like something different sometimes in my music, some of safri's tracks are a bit TOO different, but it's interesting nonetheless. imo, it's one of those albums that can really grow on you if you listen to it enough. but that's just me i guess.
preferably, when it comes to percussion-based trackz, i turn to jungle and dnb. nuff said. :) |

I think safri duo suck, a couple of weeks ago i was at a party and that idiot dj plays cosmic gate - exploration of space (great track) and then he starts mixing played-a-live over it, I got really pissed and 20 min. later i left. he really ruined that night for me. there were some really nice babes there, damn!! |
