I posted the Chillout/Breakz Remix of this Track called "Spring Break" some weeks ago. Now here's the Original Mix.
It's has more energy than my other productions. This is not my usual style since it has more drive and power than my recent releases, which were more relaxin'. In this production i tried to combine both elements. But due to the fact that i'm thinking about editing and enhancing some parts of the track i'm very open for some suggestions by you......
Waitin for feedback!

Hello i'm Michael too :)
it has a progressive sound to it :)
but i think that this intro is kinda long , and would be cool with some more fun stuff inside, more percussion for exdample, or a fatter , stronger bass... it feels like the bass is kinda flat or weak, maybe some boosting of the lower frequencies can help,
the strings that come at 2:00 cool and kinda fit the bass, also that synth that rises up at 2:30 , all has kinda chilled feel, but than that synth sample at 2:35 has some kinda of amaturish sound to it....but i dont know how to make it better, maybe some interesting fx or something.... nice stereo effects there :)
except the sound the melody itself is GREAT, i realy kinda love it :) chilled and cool ,
at 3:40 and on...maybe give little bit more attack to this cool pad that helps the melody there and then maybe make it a bit "wider"
4:28 great melody there, but myabe you could make it build up more smoothly, although i'm not sure how, i suck at build ups 4:57 and on is great melodic feel here :) although before and after it
comeon give us some drums :)))) oh here they come !!!! cool :)))
I Like it man!!
7:12 those bass pattrns fit realy well, but again the bass itself lacks power, cool ending
good luck man :) enjoyed listening to your track
work on the sound here and there and good luck
 |

For me it works.........please try again (maybe there was something wrong...don't know)
Thanks for your review, Michael!
I really don't think that the synth at 2:35 sounds amateurish...i think it's really sweet (ok, it isn't the usual build-up-synth...but i don't want to be average ;) )
More bass? I listened on several sound systems....and it's really powerful and clear on all of them. I think this is a question of favour.....you seem to like heavy sub-basslines.....i prefer really kickin' drums which are supported by a nice bass......In my opinion the drums should make a track kickin' not only the bass.
yes, you're right.......chilly melody in the break should be turned into this main-massive-synth a little bit slower....but that isn't the point that makes this track bad or anything........cause this track isn't bad.
Thanks for your opinion though.... |

| Great uplifting trance! Original and nice composition. Perhaps you should expand the track even more (adding breakbeats to go with the main melody at the end of the track, more FX, you get the idea). A good track for an amateur producer. Rating: 4 of 6 :D |
