how to create a melody with the sound i want

all i want to know is how do i create a melody.. which programs should i use to play the melody and put some background kicks and bass/drums.. editing and all that stuff :/ which tools should i use and how?
first.. how do i create the sound i wanna create ? i have some kinda sound in my head i so want to create a melody with .. but first how do i create that sound ? |

there are alot of "how to start producing" threads, use the search option to find them and see how ppl advice to start with producing
if you ask me , i say the easiest to learn tool would be
FruityLoops

soudns can be created with syntisyzers(synths)....
there are some synths that come with fruity, also others can be added there as plug-ins,
making the drums in the background is one of the easiest thing is fruity...
i said some bla bla stuff now, but the most important thing you need is patience, sit down , read manuals, tutorials, experiment stuff and step by step you'll get the picture
if you start learing and will have questions ppl here will be always happy to help ya
also you can check tutorial on how to create sounds or how to use fruity loops or watever in sites like

as a first step i suggest again getting fruity loops and reading it's manual. |

i dont know about mp3,
but sure you can use .wav files,
and thats a very very basic thing in fruity |

You need to make the sound first before you can make a melody with it though. Making the sound you want can be very difficult though. Unfortunately, some of the brilliant ideas that come into our heads every minute take forever to make, if ever at all. |

| Create the sound with a vsti in fruity, then enter the notes into the step sequencer and press play. |

man , if you won't even start reading the tutorial , no answer will help you anyway,
making a melody with a sound you have is the most basic thing in fruity, simply read the manaul |
