Nice work here budy , now this is the best song posted on this board . you work is alot like mine , strong melodies high emotion and well produced . I would like to see you pan the pads hard left and hard right and add a bit more reverb to them , this will create more space and making the other sounds shine througt the mix . What dose the DB level get on this mixx I think its over 00 in some parts and what did you use for the bass ? its great . Keep up this work and you will be well on your way to a pro . Keep up the good work . |

First, thanx for the positive comments Pete :)
So you asked about the bass, well it's just a 16-bit xi sample like many other samples I used on that tune. As I dont have a synth or any other midi equipments I have to manage with cheap software but I can get a pretty decent sound with'em (not professional but good enough).

REAl good stuff. this is exactly the kind of chords and melody i have goin on in me head(just not on synths)... simple but strong.
where do you get all your samples and stuff for this?
and whats' sound syndicate orion, what do you need it for?
can you make this with just fruity loops... if thats the case, then i need to get down to work.

I use Orion to make all the cool synth effects and sounds and then I just convert'em into wave files and use in Fruityloops, that simple it is. Truth is that you cant reach that kind of crisp sound with fruityloops alone.
And about samples, I started with tracker programs (like FastTracker2) and have been collecting samples for about 2 years now, still Im constantly in need of good quality samples. So Ive got the samples from all over the net...

I like this song a lot! This is what more DJ's need to play. I have no complaints or suggestions. I think I will add this to my next mix CD. Or how about a remix? Need anyone to do a remix for you?
