Every DJ that makes money from cd's, vinyls or whatever is commercial in one sense or another - DJ Sammy's music just plain sucks, that is why people hate his . :whip: |

Listen to the Oliver Lieb remix of Sunlight! It isnt commercial instead it is ing brilliant!
Also PvD, Armin, Ferry,... have been spinnung Sammy's Boys of Summer track in the Humate dub mix for a long time now. No one knew it was the Humate dub mix for a long time so everybody went "whooooohooo! Great tune" before!

Yeah, i judge DJ Sammy, because he gets away with putting out for sale and people love him for it. And we like the HUMATE mix because its the HUMATE mix, and DJ Sammy had nothing to do with it, given he ripped off the melody for boys of summer off someone else in the first place. Oliver Lieb Mix of sunlight is good because its mothering Oliver Lieb, and he's a genious, as we all know. Dj Sammy had nothing to do with Lieb's remix, since the melody for sunlight, as for all of his other songs, was jacked from an earlier song. Therefore Dj Sammy is , because he cant even come up with original melodies, cheesy or not. He blatantly steals older melodies and makes a killing off of it. Meanwhile, respectable, talented and upcoming DJs cant make a decent buck on their original music which they put their heart and soul into. THAT'S why i hate DJ sammy. |

so now I'M narrowminded because i prefer music that's more experimental and less formulaic than the DJ sammy puts out?? And yes everyone has the right to do covers, but the guys who put in the extra effort to come up with their own original stuff instead of ripping off someone else's for a living should get more money and more props from ignorant people with poor taste like you. |

I have to disagree here, sometimes covers by acts with talent take a new slant on the track, make it better, or change the genre of the tune (although this doesnt apply well to DJ Sammy ;))
eg. Reel Big Fish - Take on Me or maybe Marylin Manson - Tainted Love |
