as Tranz already pointed out, it's Holland's secret weapon. However you may find one if its being sold on ebay or something if youre lucky. I've never seen any however.

I believe that Roland has discontinued that model and stopped making DJ mixers fot that fact. DJ2000 is even older than Pioneer DJM600, but between the two, I'd take the Roland DJ2000.

for Dateq person. Dateq mixers can only be purchased by someone who lives in Holland, they don't allow outside of the country sales. There was a post about a guy in Germany or England that wanted Dateq mixer and they said NO SALE outside of Holland. They are however, excellent mixers, but I think Allen and Heath mixers perform just as good and at a much cheaper cost, :D :D :D . Both mixers are made for big sound system, so I would not suggest getting A&H nor Dateq mixer for a bedroom DJ, unless you have an extremely loud and clean system. For a bedroom DJ, I suggest Rane Empath, Tascam X-9(personal favorite), Rane TTm56i(2ch)Numark PPD9000(to be released very shortly)

Well I dont just wanna be a bedroom DJ, I want to learn in the bedroom, start getting some skills, when I feel Im good enough and confident enough with my mixing, I will hit the roads and see if I can snag some gigs. ;)

Ok, then get a Rane empath or Tascam X-9, trust me either one you go with, you won't be dissapointed.

I only have one problem with that - money... I am saving up, and Im gonna buy Tech MKII's in the next week or so... just the Tech's is gonna cost me a good $500-600. Those mixers range from $500-$1000, depending on how nice the store or auctioneer is. But thanks for the suggestion, Im definitely gonna look into that when I have enough cash for the mixer. I was really interested in the DJM-600's, though Im almost totally convinced these are better mixers by the great reviews you guys give them. Thx alot! :D

Anytime, bro. But do forget about any djm mixers. They are crap. Our club uses djm600, it is a bit over a year old and it has been to repair shop more than a dozen times already. I think we are going to be getting the New Rane MP44 or possibly Allen and Heath Xone464(I'd really prefer this one)
Vlad
Ive looked at the Tascam X-9 and the Allen & Heath's Xone32/62... they are both realllly expensive. Anyone have any suggestions on a quality temporary mixer that I can practice with and get better with so I can save up for the other mixers... hopefully the Xone62 :D

Vlad
Would the A&H Xone-02 or Tascam XS-8 be good for mixing trance/club music for now?

Not really, both of these mixers are made for turntabalist DJ, scratch-battle DJ that is. for Trance/Techno and as a temp mixer to learn on, I'd suggest getting a Behringer VMX300 which I can get you for USD $$$139.95(reg. price is $169.95) cause you are a fellow member. A much better mixer and IMO better one to learn on is a Numark Matrix 3 for around USD $279.95 this is the one I started with and still have it as a back up, has been used in good size clubs and performed beautifully.
