| hey I may be down for this too... Sounds like it could be a huge TA meetup if we went to DEMF/CP because we could get TAs from all around the area to come. Cedar Point is ing sweet too! |

I don't want to knock DEMF because I think it's cool that they continue to do it each year, esp since Carl Craig is runnin' the show this year, it's free, and I love techno. In principle it's a great thing. But I have to warn you: Last year was insanely crowded, especially at night, and we were pretty miserable. If you go, go to the off-parties like Tronic Treatment.
We would love to host you in Cleveland, and would love to share our vibe with you at Abbasso. I was treated really well by the family at System Soundbar at a "Breathe" party and would love to return the favor! :p (Why not just drive down this weekend for Penton?). Cedar Point is still another two hours west of Cleveland...

Whoa, you wouldn't be able to hook us up with something like this, for free, would you? :D (I know that memberships for clubs cost money tho). ERTs rock, especially on configurable rides where operators can put rides on the most intense settings possible :) |

well, this sounds interesting, even if you TOTA's come down DEMF weekend id still take a day off of DEMF to go to Cedar Point. Its good to get away from all the comotion and just chill out. Last year i went on one of the last weeks of may last year and it was deserted. There were also a bunch of chearleading "squads" from various american highschools which i thought was pretty sweet.
anyways if u give me a little more info ill go aswell

Well, if you want to call Coastermania exclusive ride time... :p
I hope no one here has visions of continuous Dragster rides, I can guarantee that this year the event will draw over 2000 people again and the lines will be much the same as they are during the day for the new ride, it's just that you have the opportunity to stand in line for hours with only coaster geeks as opposed to standard park patrons :)
Granted, the longer amount of time at the park can be worth it, but not worth the cost of becoming a member of a coaster club just to hit this event, most have annual dues at a minimum of 10$ a year, with the big clubs, European Coaster Club and American Coaster Enthusiasts being more in the 50$ per year range...
If you want the shortest lines possible, and that goes for anyone heading to Sandusky, I recommend just going there in the middle of the week *this month*, once June hits the lines start to get out of control, and weekends are suicide at that park... |

egad! so much stuff goin on lately .. there was this crazy idea of mine of maybe heading down there hrmzz.. on the PVD weekend with the TOTA crew! but..... WEMF is also that weekend, which means crew -50%.. :confused:
soooo.. things are lookin like LATE August now .. which is looking likely tho!!
oh yaz .. and for all those CleveTA'z .. there was an article in the TO Star a few days ago about ur glorious coaster ..
