MIDI Files In Fruity Loops.. How do I make them work?

Sorry, Im new to this but...
Im loading the midifile but I cant get it to produce a sound... What do I have to do?

| alright so you already have them imported right???? and you're looking at them thinking why isn't any sound coming out right??? all you have to do is copy the melody...drag it over to another channel and there you go...there might be a way to do this without dragging it...maybe you have to mess around with the channel settings, but i don't have the prog in front of me so i can't go through that... |

Drag and drop is by far the easiest way,
make a channel with the synth set up that you want to use, open the piano roll for that channel, and drag the midi file from your file browser onto the piano roll, then you can edit the sounds however you like - easy when you know how :D |

| either the aforementioned methods or go into browser and right click on a synth and send to channel, making sure you have highlighted the midi channel of course ;) |
