| I wanted to make a big purchase off Ebay, but i dont know what to look for, and how to make sure the guy i am buying off, is legit. How do i figure out if he wont screw me, and what is the best method of paying? |

-first of all check his profile , make sure he has a load of positive feedback and possibly no negative feedback
-if he has some negative feedback , check why and check the details of the transaction (when , with who , why did he leave that)
-check all the items he was selling
-if you find he is selling a similar item he sold before , then that's a good sign , and of course the positive feedback on it
-email the guy , bombard him with questions , don't be shy , most of big serious sellers give their phone number to everybody so you can eventually call him
by the way i wanted to warn you about a scam going these days a lot on ebay , it's about people who usually sell small and cheap stuff and suddenly they offer 10 expensive state of the art cellular phones or TVs or whatever in one auction (dutch auction) , watch out because some ebay accounts get hacked and used to scam people. |

yeah i think buying on ebay is risky business.
But if i ever did bet on something on ebay....it would be on a rare autograph or something :) |

| I've used it many times. One transaction was even around $2000.00 and I recieved my product nicely. |

| I can never get Ebay to work properly, i tried registering like 6 times in the last week and it keeps messing up in the last stage, its starting to piss me off:mad: :mad: :mad: |
