Request for belgian TA-forum

most big european countries have their own forum, but belgium still hasnt =\. isnt it possbible to open one?
just open a thread concerning belgian stuff (M.I.K.E, antwerp is burning,...) and you'll find out how many belgians are actually in here.
would be nice :rolleyes:

do you guys have a temp forum hosted somewhere else, or an irc channel by any chance.
If not, pm all the guys from bel. you know, and get em over here. Because if there arent enough members, then it wont get approved, or so i would have thought. |

Been there, done that - don't worry mate, it's not that hard to get your own forum IF you've got what it takes :)
First of all, you've got to know how many belges are there on TA and that actually live in Belgium (it's quite pointless to look for Belges who live in Denmark, for example). If you've got at least 15 active users (regular posters), it's all good. Otherwise, give it up :D
The best way to call them all here is to add a link in your sig (something like "Support the Belgian Forum clicking here" and then you'll redirect them to this thread). Also, pm all the belges you know asking them to do the same thing: this is the best way to let everybody know about the idea.
Just wondering... in what language will you guys speak in the forum? I reckon Belgium has two official languages and people usually speak just one of them :p
ps.: Another solution -> if most of you speak Dutch/French and you're not so many, try to merge your forum to the Dutch/French ones... then you'd have the "France/Belgium" or "Holland/Belgium" forum... you're all neighbours and speak the same language anyway... plus, it's not such a big region, is it? ;) |

heh no belgium isnt a big region, surely the dutch-speaking part of it, but i've noticed that there are quiet a lot users on this forum.
hm yeah and maybe its a solution to merge with the holland forum, but only if not enough belgians are found (like 15 you said?). but honestly i doubt that.
well lets see if i can get some action in it.
