Its a nice setup you've got there. TT200's aren't too bad, and at first sight, the mixer looks fine too. But, Why packages? Don't you wanna buy things yourselve seperate?
So, the buget is 700$...

-180$
that leaves 520 for 2 TT's... And, there, indeed, I would go for numarks TT200s... but try finding a better price yourself, check some stores in your neighboorhood! (packages cheat alot, beleve me) |

For $700, you could get ... 2 used Technics from Ebay (I got both of mine for around $300), and a brand new Behringer mixer with what's left over. The Behringer mixers are very good for the price, and they have all that you require (EQs, extra channels, etc) :) If you want help scoping out some auctions, I can definitely lend a hand. Email me and I'll see what I can dig up [email protected]
If you've ever considered spinning CD's (and you should if money is a concern), check out some of the American Audio stuff. The PSX turntable is pretty cool, and the price is around $300 for one. I'd check it out if you already have a good CD music collection.
Personally, I prefer vinyl, though. Anyone looks at my Techs crosseyed, and I damn near freak out :) hehe!

123dj.com spun me in so many circles, it wasnt funny. Left a really bad taste in my mouth.
I got the Tech's in pretty decent condition. Although I had to recalibrate both, so the pitch was set correctly. That took about an hour, and now they are perfect. Of course, one has some scratches and a cracked dust cover. That's ok, though. They still work as expected and a cover can always be replaced cheap! Hehehe :)

PS - err, let me specify. HAHA, I got my Technics for $300 each. Hahaha, that makes a difference :) Sorry to be misleading there! |
