Well, after 3 years of studying at university, this term was the first time I ever thought I would fail a course.. And what course - Astronomy(one of the easiest courses I ever took, class average is around 85% I think). But I PASSSSSSSEEEDDDDDD !!

A lesson for the future - never to take very easy electives again, cause this way you end up not doing anything the whole term and hence have very high chance of failing the course.

Congrats, Iliya. Now show us what you've learned. :tongue2

My lowest recorded marks in university were all in 'bird' courses.

Curiously enough, pretty much nothing :whip:
Unfortunately, due to the nature of university curriculum, passing a course doesn't guarantee that you learn anything at all :(

You are probably kidding about the name of that course, but considering the many non-sense courses that exist at my school, I wouldn't be surprised if there is indeed course like that..

so, is there really such a course or is this a joke???
brunette
why would you think it's a joke?
it's a half credit of my full-credit science requirement..
yeah, it's a real course, I'm not kidding.. about the possibilities of formation and existence of extraterrestrial intelligent life in the universe.. the suitability of planets, their atmospheres and stars for sustaining life, and the likelihood of carbon-based and silicon-based life elsewhere..
(it might seem like I'm ready, but I'm really not)
