Well this is for those 56kers out their, i discovered a way too speed up your downloads using gozilla.
I thought i would see what happens when you disconnect the phone line and let Gozilla auto re-connect and resume the download, and what i saw was amazing, if it was going at a ty speed 2.5 - 3k/s after it auto re connected at would stream in at 4.7k/s peaking at 7k/s every 4sec, and this has worked on every download since, has anybody else done this???????????
Also what connection do you have (56kMod DSL), and how fast can you download in k/s, i run a 56modem off my laptop and the best speed i can get is 6k/s, but a 4.8k/s is average. |
