Bass Station dj competition final details:
Date: This Friday 02/05/03
Place: ZOS niteclub, Chapel Street, south yarra.
Time: 1:00am-2.00am (vs. set)
Just letting everyone know that this week is the final. I playing an hour versus set with bass station bay boy Tristan Mason. I sticking with the sound that got me through the heats which is the tough but uplifting sound. expect some big tunes as its only an hour set so it will be pretty tight.
There are three heats of which I'm in the first and the winner is announced by Midro at 5:00am. I know a lot of you will be at San Trancisco but would be cool to see you guys rocking with me at Bass.

How do these comps work? Is it who can spin the most tunes with the most accuracy and tricks in the time given, or is it just based on beat-mixing (e.g. letting songs play out)? |

thanks veryone for da support!! basically the competition is based on crowd reaction, energy behind the decks, track selection and mixing. Personally I dont really cut it up much or do many tricks. I feel that it usually wresk the flows especially when your playing trance. Also its to easy for it to sound e as the needles may not be weighted properly and most of the time you cant really adjust them if your in a rush. But yeah basically who rocks the most!!
competition looks stiff though so it be tough task!! |

And I'm sure you've already worked out a tracklist, but if you could throw down Green Court feat. Lina Rafn - Silent Heart (Flutlicht remix) I would be there in heart :p
Or even opening with Dumonde - God Music (Euphonic remix) Into (Flutlicht remix) :crazy:
