How to make this drum loop

I want to make a drum loop like in the sample below, it's just a regular 4-on-the-floor beat, but with a little "shuffling" effect that I don't know how to produce:

That's just a regular drumloop with a quiet snare/rimshot/whatever playing offbeat...

That's true. And to get that "shuffled" sound. You must add swing to that track. I don't know about other programs, but in Cubase you can add from 0-100% swing. I think there is a shuffle thingy in Fruity as well. Alternatively you could quantesize using triplets. For example 1/16T.

I don't think that particular loop has shuffle, actually - it doesn't have that "swing" in it.

i actually never used this shuffle option in fruity.. :)....

now i see in fl-studio they now called it "swing" too...

and its actually cool

I agree with Mr.Mystery - I don't hear no shuffle - it's just an off beat snare/clap, and hats. When you actually play with the shuffle, the timing of the hats/snares, and instruments, are totally different, and especially when they are sequenced all in a roll. Try listenin to a snare roll with the swing 100%, and you'll see how it sounds. -Mental
