anyone ever had trouble with ordering vinyl online and not getting them delivered? I bought a shed load from chemical, and after checking the tracking number, its been delievered... somewhere, and its been signed for. I was at work on the day and none of my neighbours have it... well pissed off... might have to reorder them again and contact the credit card company. Think I can reclaim my money back since I dont have the products?

Unlucky!!!

You have worried me now coz I'm waiting for an Ulrich Schnauss CD to be delivered.

I had a worse situation. I sent a demo CD-R to Solar stone and they told me they never recieved it. So some of my tunes are lost in the UK post or in some other dick heads hands. Glad they are copywrited:D

but you cant claim for something that has been signed for, as it proves the products were delivered so the company is not liable to refund you.

also royal mail (ie chemical) dont deliver packages to neighbours, the will leave a card saying pick it up at the post office located wherever. what has happend is you must have wrote ur adress wrong, what u can do is email or ring chemical asking them about the detials of that transaction ie adress and that to see if you wrote it right. they cant deny u the info because its ur credit card.

There is something very dodgying going on with Parcel Force who Chemical use.

The exact same thing happened with me. Big order of around £120 of records, wait, wait, phone chemical, they gimme parcel force no. Anyway parcelforce say they attempted delivery, but no one there, I say where's card, they say oh actually it's been signed for. I say who? And they say by me, reading out my address. I kick up major fuss, I say gimme the no. of my local depot from who it was delivered. This is the west London depot in Acton, phone is always engaged, I persist though, phone in, kick up major fuss, say what the hell is going on, where is parcel. They say they're not sure. I say right I'm coming down the depot with parcel no. and you're gonna find it.
turn up at depot on Saturday, 15mins after searching for it, get very battered looking parcel, check every record, moan as to what the hell is going on. They say it's cause they're using agency drivers. I said it sucks.

On the plus side Emily @ chemical was great, helped sort /chase the order and offered to send out the same records again for no extra cost.

Mine were in one big flappy envelope thing, but it looked as though they'd been half way round the world the state of it.

chemical are soon switching away from Parcelforce as they've had so many issues with them.
