Armin kicked ASS!!!! It was sooo nice to hear a great trance set that only Armin can belt out. He was completely awesome for the whole 3.5 hours. He kept on banging out the good tunes.
Good to see Chris, Lena, Nick, and Garfield again. And nice to meet Ravenstar too.
and to the person who was sleeping for a lil while during Armin :whip: you know who you are :whip:

Nick and I had 6 shots of this *ROUGH* sKyy vodka before we went in and i can speak for the both of us that it was bad! anyways the two of us now have massive hangover/headaches. no more Skyy for me ever again! anyways, the Skyy made me too intoxicated to dance and all i could do was text message Bean to tell her "i'm relaxing by the washroom couches".. all i remember is PvD - Nothing But You coming on... and me wanting to dance while lying paralzyed and helpless on the couches! aye!

it was the first time that I saw Armin live.
And he was really great.
he started slow and soft at 1:00.
the atmosphere in the club was amazing.
special when he played PvD-Nothing but you and Solarstone-Rollercoaster.
I was dancing and jumping the whole time.
sorry that I couldn't come to the meeting point.
I was still at dinner to this time and arrived the club at 11:30.
and unfortunatly I must left the club at 3:30 before Armin finished his set.
by the way nice pics.
when my pictures turned out, I will post them also.

hey all,
just woke up a bit ago... was a wicked time. nice to see everyone again. Took forever for me to become functional again. Those refreshing beverages from earlier in the evening might have been a factor in that. not to re-iterate, but DCS turnout was impressive. perhaps the CTA team should mobilize for a roadie to Detroit sometime... I know, DEMF:)
Anyways, I should probably go be productive or something for a while.
Chris - that skyy was hella rough. I enter into evidence the pictures above....

| yah it was definatly a good time.. funny to see chirs drunk and passed out on the coach =P. good seeing nick, lena, chris , tom and jason again. u guys know the song that has a puase and goes... da da da daaaaa.. da dum... da da da daaaaa.. da dum.... its been bugging me and i cant remember the name of it =). im sure i have it in my mp3 collection but dont want to search throgh gigs and gigs of it right now =p |

What a crazy night!!!!
The Limo dropped us off at about 10pm or so and the club wasn't open yet..I was anxious to see the lay out of the club and and see Armin do his THING:p :p :p :p :p
They let us in at about 10:30 or so...I was really scared my first 3 minutes in the place, because they where playing Hip-Hop:( :( :( I was like this is going to get me in the mood for Armin...But soon I was shuffled off to the right room!!!! I loved the layout of the club..Those spiral staircases where a little hard to get aruond with so many peeps and being a little out of it...LOL...
It was great meeting some of the CTA members!!!!! Porky and crew!!!
sorry we didn't hang for too long with yall..We had a good sized crew and I really didn't leave the Dancefloor once Armin came on!!!
The opening DJ was really good I was impressed...he set the mood perfectly....
and then there was ARMIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you had a good time seeing Armin Tobi. Wish that you could have met up with us and partied. At least you had fun.
How did you like the club? How does it compare to some in Germany?
The first two hours of Armin's set were the best IMO. He played a lot of straight on trance during that time. All but like three of the songs that I id'ed were played then. |
