yeah ive been boxing for 7 years now. get some gloves with a bar running across the palm. Youll know why once you get them. they run about 50 bucks USD. get a speed bag also. Other than that. work on your jab!!!!! any moron on earth can throw a hard right. if you can get a vicious jab youve just become twice as dangerous as pretty much anyone you are going to fight. learn to hook and cross with left arm too.

another key is that your goal isnt to make the bag move as much as possible. You can do that by pushing it. Which is how most people punch. The goal is to throw a whip crack of a punch that has a slight twist in it. That way it turns their head as it gets knocked back. Ive gotten to the point where as soon as my knuckles touch someones face their head whips sideways. force=mass x acceleration. control your vectors.

breathe sharply out of your nose every time you punch. it tightens your abs for a counter blow and it scares people.

a punch starts with your feet. learn to lever off them.

dont stand sideways. ty balance and a hook will take you off your feet

lower your head so you are looking out top of your eyes. That way they punch forehead and your head wont get whipped back as much.

use your elbows to take punches. It breaks their fingers. takes practice but its second nature after a while.

duck and then stand up and do a combo. then duck again and come back up and do a different combo. do this as fast as you can. as soon as you see a pattern, break it.

thats all for now.
