| I was listening to this beautiful mix last night for the umpteenth billion time. Something I never notice before at all was the dramatic change in feel the mix goes after the first hour. The first hour is very uplifting and melodic while the second hour hints of this a little the most of it is dark deep progressive. I love both but then that made me wonder of their format. Do they spin two and switch or was the first hour Dave and the second Josh. If neone knoes info please share. Then again since I think very few of us were in the studio at that time maybe u can answer Dave......? |

Dont think Pete Tong was part of that EM, if they switched it would

I burned the first and second hours to two discs and theres a big difference between them. guess its called progression :)
I like the second hour better overall. |

Yeah that's a very good question...
Weather they take turns playing after one track, or if they each do an hour seperately -
I always thought that they switched off after each track, but after reading this I'm kinda thinkin' that they each did there own hour seperatly since of the change in the music like a few of you have pointed out :D |

Well, if they did play each one hour separate of the other, than still it would be logical that they first agreed on what to play, because otherwise they could have ended up playing the same track(s) both.
For me this mix is overall legendary 'cause it was the first time I heard Andain - Beautiful Things and Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes...:wtf:
... not to mention the other great tracks! :tongue2 |
