and you come into a clearing where there are 20 rebel villagers lined up about to be shot. the soldiers see you (westerners) and immediately greet you warmly. they say for visiters it is their custom to allow you the honor of the kill. if you kill 1 person, they will let the other 19 go free. if you dont kill anyone, they will shoot all 20 villagers.
what do you do - kill 1 or none, save 19 or none. |

I'd setup a "paper, scissors, stone" league, each match lasting 3 rounds. The winner of each round is guarunteed freedom, the losers then play another round against each other and so on until 2 are left. The loser gets shot.
Only fair way to do it if you ask me. |

How is this fair? What if the looser of this game is an 8 year old kid. On the other hand, what if all these villagers are kids? I need a little more information. |
