Music from your country
View this Thread in Original format

Here's an example of the native music in my country, Colombia. I'm not very proud of showing you this, in fact when I hear it, it makes me feel sad, dirty, it makes me barf.
Anyway, I think there has to exist a country with music even more pathetic than this. If you can, post a piece of music from your country...
For example in Mexico I think it's the mariachi music.
What is the tipical music from USA, is it "country" music?
TeKnoHe@d2025
The US is mainly either Pop music (ty boy bands & such) and Rap (representing the Ghetto's of America ;) ). And I'm sure u know what both of these sound like.

Well, compared to this, Rap is really decent.

Jajajajaja!!!!!
Is common to listen in the radio stations all that crap, but I will never dance it!!
And what do you dance in there, "champeta" or "merengue"?
torontotrance
Canada likes to buy into whatever is big in the US. Canada really does not have it's own music. We have a lot of good female singers like alanis morisette, celine (she sux in my book), shania twain ( I hate country), sarah mclachlan and Nelly Furtado. We have some cdn deejays that are getting big, like George Hatiras in the Uk in terms of house and Max Graham who did tranceport 4 (he lives in denver thought).
